“ Definitely one of the best restaurants in Rovinj when it comes to food. During the peak summer season they don’t take reservations, but that wasn’t a problem — we were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. My companion had pljukance (a local pasta) with salmon and prawns, while I enjoyed a risotto with shrimp and zucchini. For starters, we shared a tuna tartare, which was the absolute highlight of the evening. The food arrived quickly, and the service was handled by highly professional and attentive waitresses. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. ”

“ Probably one of my favourite restaurants in Rovinj. Beautiful location in the old town by the sea. The fish was delicious and huge, I also got some side dishes which were also great (they come with the fish, you don’t have to pay extra). It’s not too expensive. I only didn’t like that you have to pay coperto, but ok (it’s 2 euros per person). The reason I don’t like it is that coperto is not usual in Croatia, and I don’t remember I had to pay it in the past. This year I paid it in two restaurants in Rovinj. ”
“ One of the best meal experiences my wife and I have ever had, and we're no spring chickens. I say experience because although the food and wine were good, it was the customer service and beautiful setting and atmosphere that means this meal will live long in our memories. All of the waiters were superb. On arrival we were told it would be a few minutes before a table was available. We were given a small sample of wine while we waited and the waiter kept us updated and had a chat with us. After about 15 minutes the table was ready, announced by another waiter with a comedic countdown. What an experience, thanks so much Stella Di Mare. My wife had taken a nasty fall only an hour before and the customer service we received was just what we needed to raise her spirits. Thanks so much, you've set the bar high ”
